My husband is living through a very critical health  situation right now, that may indeed take his life..quickly.

Much could be said about the current medical system in the US.    The impact really doesn't hit you between the eyes until you've experienced it - lost someone you loved or been unable to obtain the care needed and suffered dire consequenses.  The very dark side of being unable to pay for care needed is real. My husband and I are living through this now, it is a daily burden, and series of decisions.

 My husband and I remain optimistic despite all.  We have many who have prayed with and for us and still do.  And so it is with a prayer now I ask for your support in our needs.

As embarrassing as it is, we now need to reach out for assistance.  If there is any way the members of ASD or Golden Panda can assist us, we would be truly grateful from our hearts.

 My husband is now in danger of amputation and loss of his leg and possibly his life  unless we can financially pay for the services and nutrients he needs, which will bring him back to health.

The situation is critical, and the time frame is short to be able to avoid these serious consequenses.

My husband is currently seeing specialists for a situation which has escalated over the past 2 years, due to a lack of the inability to pay for medical treatment needed.

Most of the specialists will refuse treatment unless payment is made at time of service.  The operations suggested by the doctors do not present a picture of hope, as due to his declining health and due to the pain and disease, he would likely not survive them.

We have options for a return to health and avoidance of amputation if we can pay for a medically approved treatment for his condition, that is not invasive, and will not put him at risk.

The minimum cost is approximately $6000 - the treatment is called HBOT - or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

He has went from a robust 157 pounds in weight to 106, and is 5 foot 8 inches in height.  This caused by his inability to eat as he should due to doctors recommendations of his teeth being removed, and creating more problems.  He no longer has the problem with infected teeth, but neither can he eat as he needs, as the over all cost of everything has left us unable to pay for dentures - adding to his weight loss.   Also 2 years of dealing with a level of pain which decreased his appetite to little more than survival.  He now is taking medication for pain, but those side effects have been heavy as well.

I can not imagine what it would do to my self esteem if I had to do without my teeth.  There are many issues here affecting my husband, and this is one of them.

My husband is a fighter, and a tuff guy beyond belief, in seeing with all he has had to deal with it amazes me he still has such a will to live, and even have an incredible belief in in the goodness of life and God.

  The nutrients we have used this far are many but most have been effective in maintaining a certain level of health.  I thank my dear friends who at times have sent me products to help, they truly have been one of the reasons I have been able to keep him out of the hospitals and surgery to this point.

Goji - Colloidal Silver - Vitamin D therapy - Acai - MAXGXL - The Berry Tree for hydration and Silver for keeping his blood clean - Enzyme Therapy - Protein shakes and amino acids - Omega 3 and Krill Oil, Greens, berries, and fiber supplements.  Nerve repair formulas and antioxidents from TriVita. OC MAX (oral chelation) from Gold Shield Elite been taking for 2 years now, URI - the feast, Arginex from ForMor.  For most of these I have joined the MLM companies offering these products in hopes of making enough to pay for products, or at least purchase at whole sale.  I no longer have the time or the funds to work these programs effectively to build teams, with the time care Neal requires.

At this point, we have taken out $20,000 in loans, and ran 6 credit cards to the maximum to be able to pay for all - along with some special equipment for bathing and mobility. We are now at an impasse and can no longer purchase the items above on a regular basis. Nor do we have the ability to pay for the ongoing medical visits required, most of which require 300 miles round trip.

ASD, La Fuente, and Golden Panda, advertising and rebate funds have helped, we started with $100, and so it is a process of building, and time to be able to reach the level of income to really help us at this time.  We continue to work towards any areas that will enable us to be self sufficient and dealing with our situation.  Your comments or suggestions are welcome.  We only ask that you do not promote programs for us to join, as it should be obvious we are not in the position to do so at this time.
